Roughly sawn effect

Roughly sawn effect (cross-sawn, cross-wise brushing) – the process of highlighting across(crosswise) the plank structure and soft wooden fibers. After such processing, the surface of the flooring becomes more distinctive and evokes the feel of freshly sawn timber.

As well as with the brushing effect, there could be several levels of such effect: from the light-processing, when the surface roughness is barely visible to the deep-processing, when the pore depth is considerable.

This effect is truly unique and highly individual, such flooring option offers distinctive look and rugged beauty of the old times. All this creates impression of the hundreds of years of use.
