Engineered flooring (2-layered) – is a flooring that consists of two elements glued together under pressure. The top layer consists of solid oak and the bottom layer is multi-layered plywood.
Oil coating – a process of coating parquet, solid or engineered floor boards by oil. We provide coating by using Rubio monocoat oil plus 2C. The use of this oil makes the floor look as natural as possible and facilitate potential restoration.
Chevron flooring (French parquet, Hungarian parquet) – planks of parquet, solid or engineered floor boards with the same length, which are stacked at 35, 45 or 60° angle to each other.
Parquet flooring – planks of solid wood with width of 50mm and 70mm and length of 250 – 500mm. Edge and planks end have the “tongue-groove” profile, which allows you to combine them into solid parquet flooring.
Brushed effect (brushing) – the process of highlighting along the plank structure and soft wooden fibers or in the other words, this process is also called – artificial aging of wood.
Roughly sawn effect (cross-sawn) – the process of highlighting across(crosswise) the plank structure and soft wooden fibers. After such processing, the surface of the flooring becomes more distinctive and evokes the feel of freshly sawn timber.
